What happens when Cruise's driverless

What happens when Cruise's driverless

A video clip, posted on April 2 and sharedSLOTXOon Twitter yesterday, is of an incident where police tried to park the driverless taxi because the lights were not on at night. After the car stopped, the police walked over to look at the window and opened the car door. but was unsuccessful so went back to the patrol car

Later, the driverless taxi drove off and parked not far from the original spot and the police car drove to the end. The police once again circumnavigated the driverless taxi, hoping to find a way to help the car turn on the lights by calling the people involved.

In the clip, Cruise officials pointed out that the driverless cab didn't run away from the police, it just parked in a safe location. Police then called Cruise officials to resolve the issue. The police will know how to interact with the car and have a phone number to coordinate with Cruise.

GM's self-driving car company Cruise has been operating driverless taxis behind the wheel in San Francisco since February and has been working with police. Cruise is permitted to operate on certain roads in San Francisco for a limited time between 10 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., so it's very important to keep your headlights on. But I'm not sure why the autonomous driving system won't turn on the lights.
