branded/brandless wallet?

Guys, I am thinking of buying a new wallet for myself. But I am not sure whether to get a branded designer one or a brandless wallet. I used to buy authentic designer bags and accessories. But with the global economic downturn, I don't think it's a good idea to get an authentic designer item. I think there's a  probability of getting robbed in the suburb of the metropolis down in the south. So naturally, I would prefer one of the same design for much a cheaper price. Thanks to this Dhana's replica Louis Vuitton wallet review, I woke up to the super identical accuracy of the knockoff these days. I think I will probably get a fake wallet instead. The wallet is such a steal at a fraction of the retail price.
